This is a picture of me swimming with the dolphins on vacation.  This picture represents things that I enjoy and that I think are fun to do in my free time.  This picture is meaningful to me because swimming with the dolphins is something that I enjoy doing. It is also something I would like to do again and do not have the opportunity to do often.  I would define leisure as time away from work or school in which I am able to do what I enjoy and can relax and not worry about the stress of school and or work.

Defintition of Leisure

I have a picture of me playing ball here at the University of Illinois. When I think about leisure I think about having fun and relaxing or even finding something that keeps you interested. Leisure to me is finding something to do in your free time. When I have free time I like to play basketball. Basketball helps me to stay calm and forget about all the other negative thats going on around me.

Leisure to me is spending time with friends and family, relaxing and having a good time. From traveling to new places to staying in watching a movie, leisure time can be anything that allows me to relax and enjoy myself. I also consider it as a break or time away from working and being a student. This photograph was taken last summer when I went to Florida and went to sea world. I consider this leisure time, because I was with people I care about and had a great time traveling to a place that I had never been before.

This is a picture of a guy listening to music. It also shows him having a good time lisitening to some tunes. For my leisure time I just sit back and relax while listening to music because it relaxes me. It's my way of being free from school and football and it also take my mind off things. I love to listen to other people's struggles that relates to me because it motivates me to work harder at everything I do.

Definition of Leisure- puetz2

This is a picture of my friends and I on vacation in Cancun. I chose this picture because the background represents the calmness that vacations, particularly in warm areas, bring. It also reminds me of the relaxation and enjoyment I experienced while on vacation with good friends. My own personal definition of leisure would be anything that is relaxing and that I enjoy doing, like laying out at the beach. To me, leisure is not work, but rather time to take a break.

This is a picture of two people playing a video game. It's also showing social bonding. This means alot to me because I enjoy playing video games often and it relaxes me. It is my outlet and my way of staying sane. Since this is something I enjoy doing, this would be my outlook on leisure. Leisure meaning, doing something you enjoy doing or something that takes your mind off of the more stressful things in life. I don't believe leisure is one particular activity, but its something that makes you happy and less stressed regardless if it's painting, reading, exercising, etc.
